Bright Seaweed
Watercolour, ink and stitching
Amazed by the astonishing colours of the seaweed around the Cornish coast, I try to replicate the brightness that it has when in the water and quickly paint the colours in situ. Later back in the studio, I add the ink outlines and stitching giving form and texture.
